After the New Year we finally got some snow. The kids (and Keith) were thrilled. Me, not so much. I am a warm, sunny weather kinda gal. Keith built this little snow hill in the backyard. The kids could slide down it all day. Please pardon the crack.
Keith dragging the kids back and forth through the yard.
The kids on the sled that Jaxson bought.
Harley standing by the door waiting to be let in. FYI: Those are handmade, wool mittens that he is wearing. Lovingly hand-stitched by Keith.
Afterward we all enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate. Here is the recipe:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
4 cups milk
4 T cocoa
1 t vanilla
Heat all ingredients in large pot 10 minutes or until hot. Serve with whipped cream. Enjoy!

Yum! I am excited to try that hot chocolate! Bob is a cracker too, those Hughes boys ;) It looks like you have made some fun friends. We miss you guys.
So nice to hear and see you - in a way- again. I miss you, sorry I've been house bound and out of it lately. Give me a call when you have a minute. I'll bet Keith loves the crack picture!
Oops that last comment was from me not Brett, I forgot to sign him off!
1st your hair is adorable! you look great! kids are adorable and it looks like you are staying busy as usual!
The picture of Harley is so stinkin' cute! Maybe next time it snows, Keith could pull be around on a sled. The upside for him is that it would be one kick butt workout ;)! I can't wait to try that hot chocolate...but I need to wait until my 'free day'!
What a dad...a hill, pulling the sled, playing in the snow, and to top it all off, knitted sockies for the dog! Wow! I'm impressed. And can't wait to try the hot cocoa - Yum!
Yummy, that hot chocolate sounds really good! I about died when I saw the picture of Harley--that is too funny! I love that Keith made the little booties:)
